Some of the 55 Plus Communities are golf course communities while others have very active schedules with a full time activities director.
Almost all of them include a clubhouse with different amenties available (party room, billiards, fitness center).
Every 55 Plus Community includes a monthly HOA fee. This fee is typically between $200.00 and $400.00 per month. The fee usually includes all outside maintainance including grass cutting and snow removel as well as the clubhouse.
The Monthly Fee for Leasehold 55+ Communities (you pay a monthly lot rent) is typically between $425.00 and $550.00/month.
For most of the 55 Plus Communities, the yearly taxes are between $4,000 and $7,000 per year. A few communites have taxes as high as $10,000 per year.
